Yes of coarse. I am actually surprised from this day that we were able to stay in the building without it clasping. It was able to stay strong and keep us in it for a minimum of time. But I do not think that it was able to do its job accurately because it was not able to take the plane hit, but as long as it did somewhat of its job that is good too.
They said it all and I agree with both of them. I mean its great that it held them up but then it crashed down and still killed a lot of people. I think the architect's should of tested it out because of the devastation it had. We believed what they said but no body would think it would actually happen (plane hitting building) and maybe they didn't think so either. Maybe hats why it wasn't stable.
So in your defense you dont think it did a good job at all? Many people including me think that they should of tested it out before they sent it to the public. Yes thats true maybe they didnt test it because they didn't actually think a plane would crash into it.
I am pretty sure that everyone is going to answer this question with a yes. YES I would change the designs I think if I were to go back in time and change up the designs then it would be much better! I would maybe make more emergency exits so that they can get to the ground floor. If you were to be on the 115th floor you would have to go down a big flight of stairs to get to the ground floor, and obviously that would take to long.
Ha-ha yes everyone would. That is a very good idea and a good point. Because the elevators were not working people had to climb a lot of stairs. You are on of those people, so was it tough going down those stairs?
Well im not included in that everyone, actually I would not re-design the twin towers because I think it was fine the way it was. Maybe Will was right with the stair situation but it would be complicated to do that. The only problem it had was like my wife said they didnt test it properly.
Well I would design the twin towers again because it didn't work out properly. I think that if it was easier to leave the building then more people would be living and less dead.
Yes this is true re-designing it could be a very good thing. Stairs is a big risk factor because some people are not able to walk and some aren't able to go down a lot of stairs.
@John
Leaving it the way it was could actually be better than changing it up. Oh yes it is very tough to re design a building. Testing it could be a result to the death toll.
Going down a lot of stairs was tough but knowing why you are going down those stairs doesn't make you want to stop. We were heading to outside which was the safest place to be, so at that moment we did not care about what floor we were on and I think that everyone else that took the stairs was thinking the same thing.
Yep building re designing a building will take very long but its not possible. I would do it because of the people and my father wouldn't do it for another reason. I am not saying its a bad thing that he doesn't want to re design it, but I think its better to.
Hahaha OK. IF I had magical powers and I could zap the designs I would change the stairs situation because not everyone can run down those stars in time. Its a big risk factor and its very dangerous.
Yes this is true not a lot of people can walk a lot of stairs, and that's the only way to get out of the building so they have no choice but to take the stairs. So that's why I would fix it.
Yes I would want to do the elevator system also. It seems pretty difficult and people come to work late. Then when they come to work late they loose money and loosing money is a bad thing because you cant afford things for your family. Sorry to much things......
That is true. I think that changing it would not really make a difference. But if they were to change it up they should obviously have better material and they should try to test it out.

ReplyDeleteYep i agree with my father. It didnt do its job successfully but it was capable to brace and maintain staying for a minimum of time.
ReplyDeleteThey said it all and I agree with both of them. I mean its great that it held them up but then it crashed down and still killed a lot of people. ReplyDelete@ John
ReplyDeleteYes I was surprised too. The way people put it was right when the plane hit the building it fell into pieces which is not true.
@Will
ReplyDeleteYes it was able to do its job sort of but it kept a few passengers safe so that's the good thing. But it did kill a lot of people because of this.
@ Mrs.F

ReplyDeleteBut inst it a risk to take the stairs especially when you are on a high floor? So basically what i am saying is wouldn't you fix something about that?
Well I would design the twin towers again because it didn't work out properly. I think that if it was easier to leave the building then more people would be living and less dead.

ReplyDeleteI would also change the elevator system. Its was difficult to new comers.
